Our History
1998 - 1999
AKB Limited begins life as the IT division of a well established consulting company in Tokyo focused on fashion retail and high technologies industry.
2000 - 2009
AKB launches as an independent business and moves into our Shibuya offices. Those offices became home for the next 20 years as the business continued to grow from strength to strength.
2010 - 2017
AKB Limited successfully partners with VCS Timeless and Cegid a growing provider of ePOS solutions in Europe. In 2010 AKB Limited became a full member of The French Chamber of Commerce in Japan.
2018
The service team at AKB Limited made it through to the final of the Service Desk Industry (SDI) Best Small Managed Service Desk Provider (MSP) awards. We are incredibly proud of the external recognition for our team, who have completed extensive training.
2019 - 2020
Partnership in Japan with IPSIP a pioneer in cyber security, Eagle Eye, a leading Cloud video system for retailers, Teleworkr a full featured telework solution and GuestTek, the world leader provider of Hotel and convention centers IT solutions.
